A little about me
I’ve never been just one thing… and maybe that’s why you’re here. Some of us are wired for the “&,” for a layered life and a path that doesn’t fit into a single checkbox. If you’re choosing your own way, welcome. You’re in good company.
Why I do this work
I believe our lives are made of chapters—careers, callings, seasons of clarity, seasons of questioning—and each one asks us to listen a little more closely to ourselves. My work exists because so many people are told they have to choose: one identity, one direction, one version of success.
But most of us don’t live that way.
I’m drawn to moments of transition and rediscovery because in those moments, we have the opportunity to become more of ourselves. Whether I’m coaching, advising, or photographing someone, the heart of the work is the same: creating the space and the tools for people to see themselves clearly and step into what’s next with confidence, integrity, authenticity, and a sense of grounded possibility.
A Few More Details
There are endless ways to introduce ourselves with degrees, certifications, or job titles and yes, I have those. A Master in Public Administration. A Certified Wealth Strategies. A former Certified Exit Planning Advisor. Soon-to-be Certified Professional Empower Coach. All useful, all meaningful… but only if they’re put to work. So instead of stopping with acronyms, here’s what I’ve actually done.
I’ve spent more than a decade in the nonprofit sector helping leaders navigate growth, change, and impact with emphasis on helping families on the edges get access to critical services.
I’ve worked in wealth management supporting people through complex, values-driven financial decisions.
Over the last ten years, I’ve been on faculty in the University of Oregon’s Nonprofit Management Program—my double Alma Mater. (Go Ducks!)
And for the last 15 years, behind the scenes, I’ve run a photography practice that’s allowed me to document people in their most honest and expansive moments.
My life’s work is an amalgamation of curiosity, creativity, and a desire to help people design and express their legacy both in the choices they make and in the stories they capture and tell.
My Philosophy
I work at the intersection of several disciplines, but they are deeply connected. Through coaching, advising, and portrait work, I create spaces for people to see themselves and their choices with greater clarity. Sometimes that looks like navigating money narratives, other times we’re mapping your next big move, or creating images that reflect who you’re becoming. At the heart of it all is a simple belief: success is alignment. When your purpose, resources, and self-expression come together, life expands to meet you where you’re at.
